AE 700: Shape and Topology Optimization

University of Kansas · Fall 2025

A graduate course covering mathematical formulation, sensitivity analysis, numerical implementation, and applications of shape and topology optimization.

AE 700: Probabilistic Engineering Design

University of Kansas · Spring 2026

Provides an overview of probability (random variables and distributions), reliability estimation methods, and reliability-based design optimization to quantify uncertainty and improve engineering decisions in aerospace and structural systems.

K–12 Teacher Workshops: Design–Fabrication–Testing

NASA EPSCoR · In collaboration with KU CTE · February–May 2026

Building on the PI’s three-part NASA EPSCoR-funded teacher professional-development workshop, conducted in collaboration with KU CTE from February to May 2026, this initiative provides hands-on experiences and reusable technical resources spanning CAD, print preparation, 3D printing, mechanical testing, and interpretation of results.
